TODAYS RECIPE IS CALLED :



                                                              SNOWBALLS

Ingredients

  •     180 g white chocolate broken into pieces              100 g marie biscuit (roughly crushed)

  •      1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk                         225 g coconut flakes

         50 g butter (chopped)                                              180 g white chocolate (melt it)

  •      1/2 cup sour cream                        

Method             


  • Add  the white pieces,condensed milk ,chopped butter and sour cream in a medium heatproof bowl.Place the bowl over a sauce pan of simmering water on low heat (see to it that the bowl does not touch the water).Stir it for 5-6 minutes or stir it until melted and the texture becomes smooth .Remove the bowl from the saucepan and cool it

  • Add the roughly crushed biscuits to the above mixture and stir it well . Keep it in the refrigerator for about 4 hours until comletely set . Remove and roll the mixtures into small balls.place the coconut flakes seperately in a plate.

  • Put the melted white chocolate in a bowl. Use two forks to dip each ball in the bowl of melted chocolate .(IF THE CHOCOLATE BEGINS TO HARDEN PLACE IT IN THE MICROWAVE ON FULL POWER FOR 10-12 SECONDSUNTIL MELTED).Place the balls one by one into the cocnut flakes and coat it well.Carefully lift each one out and place it in a clean plate.place all the blls in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes or until it becomes firm. THIS CAN BE SERVED ALONG WITH COFFEE


                                                       TIPS
  1. DARK /MILK CHOCOLATE MAY BE USED IN PLACE OF WHITE CHOCOLATE.
  2. THE SNOWBALLS WILL LAST 1 OR 2 WEEKS IN THE REFRIGERATOR.
